SAT Basics
SAT stands for Scholastic Aptitude Test. Students who are planning to go for undergraduate studies in the US most likely will have to appear for SAT. The current test format for SAT is paper based test. You can only appear for the SAT exam at the authorized centers only.

SAT costs
For the year 2006 -2007, following are the charges for the SAT exam:
- SAT Reasoning Test : $41.50
- SAT Subject Tests :
- Basic registration fee $18.00
- Language Tests with Listening add $19.00
- All other Subject Tests add $8.00

Where can I find the SAT college / university code, my country code and any other code for

When you register for SAT test, you need to put several codes, such as: the college / university code where you want to sent your score, the department code, your country code, your test center code, etc. You can find those codes in the SAT code list.

What is the cut off SAT score of US universities?
Each US university determines its own cut off scores. Moreover, some departments have their own cut off limits. For example, the Computer Science department may have a different cut off score limit than the English department of the same university. You should check the minimum SAT score required with each college / university you are applying to.
