Many banks and financial insitutions offer student / education loans for students. In this section we explore various options of loans for international students.
It is common for American students to finance their education using student loan. Student loan is provided by the US government as well as non-US government i.e., bank and other financial institution. It charges a relatively low interest rate, and normally you can start paying off your loan after graduation. Please note that international students can apply to US Banks and insitutions for student loans, provided that they have a US citizen or Green card holder as a co-signer. This is required because in case you fail to repay the loan, your co-signer will be held responsible. You can ask your relatives or friends who are a US citizen or a Green card holder to be your co-signer. But, make sure that you do not put them into any kind of financial burden. |  |
